1. League Sign Ups Open — Once we fill the league, sign ups will close and a wait list/3rd league sign up sheet will open. 2. Random Draw to Determine Team Draft Order — After the players are finalized, we will have a random draw to determine draft order for the team draft; that is how we will determine which teams we will be playing with this season. 3. Team Draft Begins: Date TBD — Each team will have a set amount of time to submit their team selection. I will reach out everyone prior to them being On The Clock to get their Top 5 choices in case they are not available when they come on the clock. You can DM me those as well. This will significantly speed up the process. 4. Invites sent for Discord & League — As soon as teams are drafted, an invite will be sent for our Discord, for anyone who didn't already get one, as well as an invite will be sent to your console to join the league in the game. 5. Determine Starting Rotation — Once everyone has joined the league on the console, you will need to go through your 40-man roster and determine who will be in your starting rotation. Once that's determined, post it here: https://www.scoreboardgaming.net/forum/roster-management/5-man-starting-rotations 6. Season Begins — Play Ball.

LEAGUE FORMAT: Flexible Schedule but minimum 4 games required per week. This is a simulation gaming league so we have rules in place to make the game more realistic like you must use your full 5-man rotation, bunts limited to two per game, trades are allowed but there are some restrictions to keep trades fair and teams close to real life rosters, etc. Please see the Rules section below. LEAGUE SETTINGS: Min. 4 Games Required Per Week 8 Teams Make Playoffs 9 Inning Games 5-Man Rotation All Star Pitching All Star Batting DH ON Guess Pitch OFF Quick Counts OFF Balks ON Ump Accuracy PERFECT Ump Close Plays OFF PLAYOFFS: This league will take place over 7 weeks. Must have a minimum of 25 games played to be eligible for playoffs. Top 8 teams that are eligible will make the postseason and will be seeded accordingly. You get 1 point for every game played and 2 points for every win. Tie-breaker is run differential. LEAGUE RULES: 1. 4 GAMES PER WEEK Everyone should be playing at least 4 games per week. We all have lives and things come up that are either expected (vacations, work, etc.) or unexpected (work, sickness, etc.) and that's understandable; we can make exceptions for that as long as you notify Admin when they come up. But the expectation is that players should be able to play at least 4 games a week. Gamers who consistently fail to meet the minimum may be removed from the league or deemed ineligible for playoffs. 2. NO QUICK PITCHING Everybody agrees that quick pitching sucks. Take a breath, choose your pitch, take a breath, throw the pitch. Rapid fire pitching sucks. Let’s cut it out altogether. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Balks are on. 3. MUST USE FULL 5-MAN ROTATION You must use your entire rotation. The game keeps track of a pitcher's stamina and will keep the rotation in order; you are just responsible for making sure you stay in order and do not skip starters. If the game disconnects/freezes and a reset/replay is required (see rules about disconnects/freezes), you can either use the same pitcher or move to the next man in your Starting Rotation. We will be switching to a 3-man rotation for the Postseason. 4. NO STRIKE/BALL RULE This is a simulation gameplay league and balls are a part of the game. Patience at the plate is required. Half of the game is identifying balls from strikes. 5. MAX 2 BUNTS PER GAME / NO BUNT DANCING While bunts are a part of the game, we have to make sure they are not abused. Some situations certainly call for them but because it is something that can be easily abused, we are limiting it to 2 bunts per game. So if you attempt a bunt and put the ball in play (or foul out), that counts as a bunt, regardless of it was successful or not. This is a sim gaming league and we need to keep this realistic. And no bunt dancing! 6. IF YOU STEAL, YOU CANNOT GO BACK... YOU MUST KEEP RUNNING. To keep this realistic, you must continue running to the base you were running towards. It's too easy to intentionally get into rundowns, which some players can easily beat. If you steal, or are picked off, you must continue running to the base you were trying to steal. 7. DO NOT CHANGE PITCHERS/HITTERS MID AT-BAT There is no excuse for a pitcher to change pitchers mid at-bat. The entire at-bat moves at the pitcher's pace. Once you throw a pitch, that pitcher must finish the at-bat. Eliminating quick pitching should help give the hitting team enough time BEFORE the AB to bring in a pinch hitter but if you got quick pitched and you just couldn't get to it in time (i.e. the pitcher has already pressed a button), it’s OK to change your hitter after the 1st pitch of the at-bat. But do not abuse this. If the pitcher is giving you enough time to make the change, you need to make the change right away. Consistently abusing this could get you kicked. 8. HOME BALLPARK For the sake of authenticity, we are only playing in current MLB stadiums. All games should be held at the current MLB stadium of the team that sent the invite. DISCONNECTS If a disconnect occurs in the 5th inning or earlier, the game will be replayed. Disconnects in the 6th inning or later will result in the win going to the team that did not have the connection error. Regardless of the situation, if both gamers agree to replay the game then the game can be reset and replayed. If both gamers agree to give the win to one of the teams, we can do that as well. Must notify Admin either way. Note: Excessive disconnections by one player can result in being kicked from the league. GAME FREEZE If the game freezes in the 5th inning or earlier, or if it freezes in a tie game, the game must be replayed. If the freeze occurs in the 6th inning or later, and one team is ahead, the game will be considered complete and a win awarded to the team in the lead. The losing team should quit the game. To prevent a dispute, a recording should provided as proof for a win to be awarded. If a recording cannot be provided, game will have to be replayed. Regardless of situation, if both gamers agree to replay the game, the game can be reset and replayed. Must notify Admin either way. TRADES Trades are allowed, however, to keep the integrity of the league we have some guidelines: Must play 6 games before you can make a trade. Maximum of 3 trades allowed per season. You can only trade with a team once per season. Once you trade a player away, you cannot trade for him back. Player Ratings must be within 2 points of each other in 1 for 1 trades. Example: You can trade an 83 rated player for an 85 rated player. You cannot trade a 71 rated player for a 77 rated player. Multi-player trades are restricted to 2 players for 2 players and the total rating difference cannot exceed 5 total points. 2-1, 3-3, or 3-1 player trades not allowed. Example: You can trade a 73 and an 80 for a 74 and a 76. 73 + 80 = 153 and 74 + 76 = 150. Difference of 3 pts. Trade approved. Admin reserve the right to reject any trade if we believe it jeopardizes the integrity of the league (i.e. in cases of obvious collusion) or if the trade is egregiously one-sided. Note: Feel free to negotiate your trades in private, however, once both parties agree to the trade, the proposed trade must be posted in the Trade Requests sub-forum for approval. Once approved, you will have the go ahead to execute the trade on the console and in the league. DRAFT POINTS EARNED BY TEAM These are the amount of points each team will earn you: 1 Point Per Week Los Angeles Dodgers 82 San Diego Padres 81 Chicago White Sox 80 Houston Astros 80 2 Points Per Week Milwaukee Brewers 79 New York Mets 79 New York Yankees 79 Toronto Blue Jays 79 3 Points Per Week Atlanta Braves 78 Boston Red Sox 78 St. Louis Cardinals 78 San Francisco Giants 78 Tampa Bay Rays 78 4 Points Per Week Los Angeles Angels 77 Oakland Athletics 77 Philadelphia Phillies 77 Cincinnati Reds 76 Seattle Mariners 76 5 Points Per Week Cleveland Indians 75 Colorado Rockies 75 Minnesota Twins 75 Arizona Diamondbacks 74 Kansas City Royals 74 6 Points Per Week Detroit Tigers 73 Miami Marlins 73 Washington Nationals 73 Baltimore Orioles 72 Chicago Cubs 72 Pittsburgh Pirates 71 Texas Rangers 71 Note: To earn points, you must complete the season.

No Hate Speech Zero Tolerance Policy Racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or other hateful speech will not be tolerated. Do not use slurs in any context. Absolutely zero exceptions. Violations could result in permanent bans. Sim Leagues Require Sim Rules Keep It Real Simulation gaming leagues require rules that promote simulation gaming. Each league has its own unique set of rules that must be followed at all times. Scoreboard Gaming has a three-strikes rule with disciplinary action for those in constant violation of the rules. Sportsmanship Matters Be Humble In Victory & Gracious In Defeat This community is built around sportsmanship so poor sports need not apply. Winning is fun. Losing is not. But both are part of the game and everyone is going experience both. Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. And there is absolutely no room for quitters. Quitting can result in permabans. Home Team Should Broadcast Transparency Is Key In order to maintain the integrity of our sim gaming leagues, as well as the integrity of our community, we ask that all games be broadcasted by the home team. This gives everyone an opportunity to review games as needed and enforce league rules, should issues arise. While we encourage both players to broadcast their games, the home team should broadcast the game via Twitch. Must Have A Mic Speak Up Every player must have a mic. You don't need to be on the mic during the game but a mic must be accessible in order to resolve any issues or disputes during gameplay, should any arise. No Cronus Zen Cheaters Never Prosper We are here to play video games and have fun. Cheating will not be tolerated. Cronus Zen mod controllers are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. If you are caught using a Zen controller you will be immediately removed from the league and banned from the Scoreboard Gaming community. Cheating is extremely lame. It's just video games.

LEAGUE FORMAT: 3 games per 5 days. Each game week (5 days) will be a 3-game series vs. your scheduled opponent. Team listed as Home on the schedule will get 2 Home games in that series (1st game and 3rd game) as it should alternate Home-Away-Home. Reminder: In the game, the person who sends the challenge/invite is Home. LEAGUE SETTINGS: 16 Teams 3-Game Series (vs. same opponent) Every 5 Days 8 Teams Make Playoffs 9 Inning Games 5-Man Rotation DH ON All Star Pitching All Star Batting PCI Preferred But Not Required Guess Pitch OFF Quick Counts OFF Balks ON Ump Accuracy PERFECT Ump Close Plays OFF LEAGUE RULES: 1. MUST HAVE A MIC You do not need to be on the mic during the game, but you need to have access to a mic so that you can settle any issues/disputes that may arise during game play. 2. ALL HITTING & PITCHING MODES ACCEPTABLE While we contemplated putting in a rule that everyone must use PCI (which we may do in future leagues), after testing this extensively with the sliders we’ve implemented, we think the game will play out pretty fairly for everyone regardless of which mode is used. PCI is encouraged, though. Same for Pitching modes. 3. MUST USE FULL 5-MAN ROTATION Everyone should be utilizing their full 5-man rotation throughout the Regular Season. Prior to the start of the season, each team will post their 5-man Starting Rotation and then they will be responsible for following it. The game keeps track of a pitcher's stamina and will keep the rotation in order; you are just responsible for making sure you stay in order. It's too easy to intentionally get into rundowns, which some players can easily beat. If you steal, or are picked off, you must continue running to the base you were trying to steal. 7. 10-RUN MERCY RULE The Mercy Rule is in effect. If you are getting beat by 10 runs early enough in the game, the game will automatically institute the Mercy Rule and will end the game for you. But if it does not, the player getting beat must quit the game. Let's keep it respectable. 8. DISCONNECTS If a disconnect occurs in the 5th inning or earlier, the game will be replayed. Disconnects in the 6th inning or later will result in the win going to the team that did not have the connection error. Regardless of the situation, if both gamers agree to replay the game then the game can be replayed. Game must still be completed before the week advances. Note: Excessive disconnections by one player can result in being kicked from the league. 9. GAME FREEZE If the game glitches and freezes mid-game, and if it does not resume after a minute or two, the game should be replayed if the freeze occurs in the 5th inning or earlier, or if it freezes in a tie game. If the freeze occurs in the 6th inning or later, and one team is ahead, the game will be considered complete and a win awarded to the team in the lead. Recording must be provided as proof for a win to be awarded. If a recording cannot be provided, game will have to be replayed. 10. SCHEDULING YOUR GAMES Everyone needs to complete a 3-game series with a single opponent within 5 days. It is important that everyone remain active & do everything they can to get their games scheduled/played asap. That means reaching out to your opponent as soon as the week opens, posting your availability immediately, & communicating frequently with your opponent until the games have been scheduled and played. Gamers who fail to schedule their games will receive losses. 3 strikes and you will be replaced. 11. HOME BALLPARK For the sake of authenticity, we are only playing in current MLB stadiums. All games should be held at the current MLB stadium of the team that is Home. So if the Cubs are the Home team, the Cubs should send the invite and select their current ballpark, Wrigley Field. You cannot trade a 71 rated player for a 77 rated player. Multi-player trades are restricted to 2 players for 2 players. No 2-1, 3-3, or 3-1 player trades. The only multiple player trades that are allowed are 2-2 trades and the total rating difference cannot exceed 5 total points. Example: You can trade a 73 and an 80 for a 74 and a 76. 73 + 80 = 153 and 74 + 76 = 150. Difference of 3 pts. Trade approved.
